AS OF THANKSGIVING 2022, THE PASTORAL SEARCH TEAM HAS PRAYED, MET, WORKED, ASSESSED THE NEEDS OF THE CHURCH, AND HAve CREATED THE PICTURE OF THE MAN WE WILL BE SEARCHING FOR AND INTERVIEWING AS THE NEXT PASTOR OF BETHANY CHURCH.

​THIS ASPECT OF THE PROCESS IS ROUGHLY AN 8-WEEK TIMELINE, AND AS SUCH OUR CHURCH IS COMPLETELY COMMITTED TO PRAYER DURING THIS TIME.  PLEASE JOIN US IN THIS CALL AS GOD WILL BE SENDING MEN TO THIS CHURCH AS THE NEXT POTENTIAL PASTOR.  PRAY FOR WISDOM IN ALL DECISIONS, AND DISCERNMENT FOR THE PASTORS WHO MAY BE CONSIDERING THIS CALL.

During this process, Bethany Church partnered with Converge Ministries to help find the next pastor of this congregation.  As you can see from our timelines, we are deep within the process and urgently awaiting the next steps.  Our partner within Converge, Bryan Moak, and his assistant Kirsten are planning to run the "pastoral match" for Bethany starting on January 17th.  The reason for this date is that it allows a solid 6 weeks of job ad runtime from the time it was posted.  Starting January 17th, Bryan and Kirsten's goal is to then finish the matching  and vetting of the candidates within two weeks so that they can then begin to present candidates to Bethany on February 6th.
