Parents are the primary disciple-makers in their children’s lives, so at Bethany, we strive to come alongside the parent in equipping and teaching children about Jesus Christ and the Christian faith.  Below are several opportunities to involve your children in Christ-centered teaching.

Children learn about the faith best from their parents. For this reason, older children are encouraged to participate in the worship service with their parents in the sanctuary.

However, for those children ages 3 through 5th grade, an invitation will be extended to attend Junior Church - a fun environment where children learn Bible stories and Bible memorization while enjoying crafts and activities.

We are not currently offering this.
Sunday school for ages 3 through 12th grade, taught by trained and experienced teachers, help to build an understanding and foundation of the Gospel message of Jesus’ love for all.

​Sunday school begins at 11:35am on Sundays and runs concurrently with the Adult Sunday School class.

An internationally recognized program, Awana is our Wednesday night Bible program for kids ages 3 through 6th grade.  Awana is a fun way to learn the Bible through activities, games, crafts, Bible memorization and lesson time.

Awana meets from 6:30pm - 8:30pm on Wednesday nights between September - April.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is our weeklong summer Bible program. It is a week packed with fun, creativity, activity with the Bible at the center of it all.  

VBS at Bethany Baptist Church is usually held in the evenings in mid-July each year.
